To get the Bronze certificate there are some requirements such as the Lean Bronze Certification exam, 80 education or training hours, and the Lean Bronze portfolio including three skillful projects. It qualifies when tactical implementation with a work-group or a work cell.

To get the Silver Certification there are some requirements such as Lean Silver Certification exam, 160 education or training hours including mentoring and coaching activities, and Lean Silver Certification accomplishment record. It qualifies when leading terms, two or more years of professional experience, nurturing Lean behaviour from others, and successfully apply the lean process, thinking, and techniques to value stream improvements.

To get Gold Certification there are some requirements such as the Lean Gold Certification exam, 240 education or training hours including mentoring and coaching activities, Gold Peer interview and Lean Gold Certification accomplishment. It qualifies when five or more year professional experience, overseeing various improvement teams, driving changes that span multiple value streams, coaching and leading the other leaders in the transformation process, and paper should be presented in Lean organizational and human developmental efforts.
